We are pleased to have contributed the maiden Nigerian Chapter of the International Comparative Legal Guide on Environment, Social and Governance Laws (ESG) 2022 by the Global Legal Group.
In the publication, we provide answers to the questions posed above. In addition, we examined the main substantive ESG-related laws and regulations in Nigeria, some mandatory ESG disclosures certain companies are expected to make, the principal sources of ESG pressure, the views of other stakeholders towards ESG and how they exert influence in support of those views, integration of ESG into business operations and planning, reliance on ESG ratings by lenders and investors, among others.
Our Managing Partner, Dayo Adu, Senior Associate, Temiloluwa Dosumu with our Associates Adeyemi Ayeku and Elu-Ojor Okoka for pulling this through.
